What is FanWaves?
FanWaves.com is the first Twitter monetization network for the sports world, built from the ground up to address the issues unique to leagues, teams, athletes, and the advertisers that sponsor them.

Publishers
Who's on FanWaves?
FanWaves publishers include some of the most influential pro sports teams and athletes on Twitter. Are you one? Get signed up!
Why use FanWaves?
You've got sponsors offline. Why not find some online too? FanWaves presents two big advantages compared to other sites:
- FanWaves doesn't annoy your fans with in-stream ads. Instead, your sponsors' messages appear on the destination pages you link to.
- FanWaves was built exclusively for the sports world. Where do you want to be found - on a generic site, or one that is created specifically for you and your peers? Thought so.
How do I tweet? Is it easy?
Heck yeah, it's easy: all you have to do is enter "d fnwv" before your tweets. You can also continue to tweet from any device or computer, like you do now.
For example, say you wanted to tweet, "Check out my stats from last night http://stats.com/mystats". Instead, tweet the following, "d fnwv Check out my stats from last night http://stats.com/mystats".
Same tweet. Just start it with "d fnwv".
Can I verify who the advertiser is? What about the ad?
Absolutely - every ad is first sent to you for your approval, and is only shown from your account if you accept the advertiser's message and bid.
If an advertiser selects you as a publisher, you will first receive an email describing the company, ad message, start and end dates, and bid. At that point, you and your reps decide whether to accept or reject the campaign.
How much money can I make?
Each publisher can determine their own rate, or can ask the advertiser to place a bid for each campaign individually. Not sure how much to ask for? Don't worry, we'll offer some suggestions during your registration process.
Once an advertiser bids to sponsor you, FanWaves will send you an email to ask for our approval.
FanWaves shares 65% of the gross revenue with publishers, unless a different amount is agreed to by the parties.

Advertisers
How does FanWaves work?
Once you register on FanWaves, you'll be able to create your own campaign through our self-serve site, and select the publishers you wish to use. Once the campaign is approved by the publisher, it will appear above each of the destination pages that they link to for the selected flight dates.
Why should I advertise on FanWaves?
FanWaves is home to some of the most influential sports publishers in the world!
If you're looking to reach an audience through the voices of their favorite sports publishers, FanWaves was built for you. Not only will you be targeting a wide audience, but the performance seen through FanWaves is significantly stronger than other networks due to the influence our publishers hold.
How does FanWaves work?
FanWaves' Analytics module allows advertisers to track the performance of each of their campaigns, as well the individual performances of publishers. This module will provide you with valuable information using Google Analytics, and includes information on click-through rates, geographical focus, and devices reached. From there, you can optimize your campaigns to achieve maximum results.
What are my payment options?
Advertisers may pay using credit cards, insertion orders (I.O.), or PayPal, depending on the size of the campaigns.
